PRAYER: UP, IN AND OUT

In Isaiah it says "My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. It is talking to God the Father, through Jesus the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is a sign of our relationship with Him. We can do nothing in our own strength.

"Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. but every good things comes from the Living God." James 1.17

We pray UP to worship and praise the Living God. On Sunday we pray UP to refocus our minds on the One who is the giver of every good gift and who is the focus and centre of our lives.

We pray IN to lift up our brothers and sisters to the LORD for whatever needs they have.

We pray OUT to ask the Living God to save those who are lost and add them to the church.

At our prayer meeting on Thursday we pray each of these sections but especially IN and OUT. Our prayer meetings is the heart beat of St Crispin's.
